Isis Guide
Many of the top players of AoM and AoM:TT still today use Isis as their main goddess. Isis is an incredibly diverse goddess with many special and overpowering attributes. There are a bunch of things you should know about Isis. Firstly, her goddess specialties: All improvements are 10% cheaper, Each one of your town centers supports three more population, Your monuments shield from god powers, and your obelisks are 33.3.% cheaper and are built faster. In my opinion, Isis has some of the best attributes of any god of the whole game. Her god power, Prosperity, is an awesome god power, especially for Egypt. Prosperity allows all your gold miners to gather gold twice as fast for 50 seconds. This will enable you to get your buildings and town centers, which just HAPPEN to cost purely gold, up very, very quickly. The last detail that I will add about Isis in the opening statement is her goddess technology. Flood of the Nile is, in my opinion, one of the more practical and ’worth it’ god technologies in game. It gives you constant free food, no matter what. I’m now gonna divide this guide into 3 main categories, and sub categories within them.
Isis On A High Hunt Map (Tundra. Marsh, Savannah, Watering Hole)
If you are playing on a high hunt map with Isis, then you are one lucky lamer. The strategy I suggest on these kinds of maps is called the fast heroic(fh), which is a pretty commonly used strategy, especially with Ra and Isis. Your objective obviously, is to get to the Heroic Age as fast as possible. Why, might you ask, would you want to wait to the Heroic Age to start producing your military? Well, for Isis, especially there are a multitude of reasons. In my personal opinion, the best reason for doing a fast heroic would be to get the Ancestors and Eclipse god power combination, which can be the best god power combo in the game in many situations. The only better ones I can think of are Flaming Weapons and Ragnarok/Fimblewinter. Using this combination you will be able to summon 13 minions, which are formidable myth units that can cripple a whole enemy force when used right. They can also be used for raiding. Another reason you should execute a fast heroic is the stronger units that you will obtain. They will beat all classical units, even Greek's strong ones, when used correctly. The third and final reason for going for the Heroic Age is for the ability to "boom,” to expand your economy with new benefits available. In AoT, you can make town centers in the Classical Age, so this bonus is erased along with the expansion. With multiple town centers you will be able to develop a much stronger economy than your opponent, or "boom". I will now explain the steps of the Isis fast heroic through the ages.
The Archaic Age
The Archaic Age is the most important economic aspect of performing a solid fast heroic.
There are a number of precisions you must make by the time you are ready to advance. When you start the game immediately send your villagers on to a visible food source, preferably hunting. Next, train up to five villagers all to food. Generally, if you are doing a fast heroic, and don't see any starting hunting, take your pharaoh and scout around your base. You NEED hunting to do it quickly enough. Send your priest to a more outward area for him to scout if you are using your pharaoh. As I keep mentioning, you must find hunting as soon as possible, send your villagers to hunting once you find it. After you have 3-7 villagers hunting, start training some to gold. Somewhere in here you should also train a villager to wood. (He will help get buy pickaxe.) Train about 3-5 villagers to gold, then go back to food. Don't forget to place your first house down with any villager. Also, as soon as you have enough gold, place a monument down near your gold miners. This will protect them a bit if your opponent is capable of using any god powers that might hurt your economy. (Spy, Plague of Serpents, Shifting Sands, and Forest Fire) In addition, build a temple as soon as you have 100 more gold. Once the temple is built, or even before then, have one of your builders make houses around the vulnerable towers near your base, and then after that, the less vulnerable ones. Keep making food villagers until you have about 12, or something around that. Don’t be afraid to make 2 granaries or use sheep, even. Then, switch back to making gold villagers until you have about 8. You should start advancing to the Classical Age between 4:00 and 5:00. You can go earlier or later if you want, but these are my recommended times you should advance by the receive the most effective Heroic Age time possible. One more note about scouting: If you have kept your priest busy, you should now have about half the map in your line of sight. Once you get to your opponent's side of the map, don't hesitate to place obelisks close to gold mines (Not close enough for him to see) so you can easily raid his gold later if he doesn't notice the obelisk. Make use of Isis’s obelisk bonus. Scout with obelisks! There are a couple of other things you should be worrying about now. First, you should research Isis's god technology as soon as possible when you have enough favor generated by your monument. Lastly, the most vulnerable part of the fast heroic is your hunters. In most cases, this won't be a problem, but if you are a bit late to the Classical Age your hunters might be raided, giving you not enough food to fh quickly. If this happens, you have a number of options: First, you could decide to just fight your opponent in the Classical Age and beat him there.(See the next section of the guide.) Second, if you think you have almost enough food to get to the Heroic Age on time send your hunters and pharaoh to a protected food source in your base, and make the remaining food there. Don’t forget about your sheep; Husbandry can be very useful as well. By now, you should be in the Classical Age.
The Classical Age
While doing a fast heroic, the Classical Age takes up only a brief moment in your plans. The main objectives you have here are to get 800 food and 500 gold while producing constant villagers, and making an armory on time. Advance to the Classical Age through the goddess Bast. Right when you enter the Classical Age, you should send at least 1 gold miner to go build an armory, because you'll need it to advance. If you need your armory to be up faster for a better time, send more villagers to work on it, as it will build incredibly slow. I also recommend a pharaoh. If you advanced in or after the recommended time, you should have near enough resources to advance to the Heroic Age. If your opponent is rushing you, which a lot of people do if they think you’re going for a fh, you might want to build walls, which will work great next to your towers. If your opponent pressures your food or gold too much, you will not be able to do an effective fast heroic. Try to make a huge effort to prevent him from doing this. Try to place more villagers to wood as another note. Well, you should be ready to get to the Heroic Age as soon as possible, if you wait much longer you will pretty much be killed by your opponent's superior force. To perform an effective fast heroic, you should be up by 6:00 to 7:30. Any later than this will make it too hard for you to come back, although it’s still possible. You should have houses or other structures around all your towers by now. Your priest, having an improved line of sight, should now have scouted pretty much the whole map except your opponent's base, if he has been working constantly. During your advancing transition, you should use Prosperity to give you gold, which you will immensely need. You will need 800 gold right away when you are in the Heroic Age(Midgol + Town Center). Try to keep your villagers hunting and gathering for as long as possible, and make farms STEADILY with prosperity gold instead of all at once. This is way easier to do. Very importantly, while advancing, if your opponent does not control it at all, send your pharaoh and five of your hunters/miners to a forward gold mine, not off to the sidelines but closer to your opponent's base. This will claim you a safe gold mine that you can use later. Build a mining camp next to it and wait to advance.
The Heroic Age
Basically said, this is the age where you will likely finish off your opponent, or die in defense. Right when you are advanced, task your pharaoh and 5 forward gold miners to build a midgol stronghold right next to your forward mine if possible. When this is completed, have your pharaoh enchant it as you will need the faster unit production speed. Also, right when you advance, send a few villagers, maybe the same ones that built the midgol, to go build a nearby town center, as you will need it to produce villagers. With two town centers producing villagers at once instead of one, your economy should be way stronger than your opponent's in no time. However, don't forget about the economic technologies. You will need these badly as well. With all this power, the fast heroic may seems pretty darn overpowered. Well it is! However, there is one downfall. Your opponent has a very large army and you don’t! You will be able to out-produce him in unit production, but it won't be a while until you have a stronger force than his. This is exactly where the god power combination Ancestors and Eclipse(Anc/Ecl) comes in. There are a number of ways to maximize this awesome combination's use: First, you could use it to attack his army. He will most likely run away, but the minions are really fast. They will pick off a lot of his troops if he is attacking you. Another way to use it is in combination with your obelisks‘ LOS(line of sight). Cast it right next to his gold miners and do a super raid! Yet another use of ancestors could be right in his base, shutting down most of his economy for 50 seconds! The last way to use this combination I can think of would be in a late battle right behind your opponent's army, which could win you the game. With all this, you should have quite a large advantage when you are in the Heroic Age. One thing about Ancestors, obviously, is to never use it around more than two heroes! This will be pretty much a complete waste of the deadly combination. From your midgol, you should be producing chariots and camels(try to go for chariots as they build incredibly fast), most likely. Elephant spam can work well too many times. Try to counter the units your enemy is building. (Don't forget to mix a myth unit or two and some priests into this.) Never forget to get the useful armory upgrades, as they make a large difference. You should also upgrade your camels and chariot archers when you have the surplus of resources. You really need to use these units' capabilities to your advantage. Chariots are probably the best raiders in the whole game, and camels are great for raiding as well. As for the economic side of all this, never stop producing villagers until you have about 80. It seems kind of crazy, but you will be able to create nonstop units with this kind of economy(Mercs too), and plenty of midgol strongholds and barracks. Don't forget to snag all the useful town centers and put obelisks next to all the gold mines as well. If he hasn't gotten to the Heroic Age himself, yet, your army should be superior to his and winning the game should be no problem. If he has, you've got to keep up your raiding, upgrade your units, and counter his units. You will get to a point where you are gaining extra resources that you will not be able to use. Do NOT advance to the Mythic Age. Instead, build extra Midgol Strongholds and upgrade your units more. Don't forget to get the fortified town center upgrade, as it will give you five more population slots for each town center you have. If you have gotten all the useful upgrades, (This includes armory too.) your population is filled up, and for some reason you can't win, then it might be time for you to take a trip to the Mythic Age. The reason I said not to go there before is because it's not as useful as doing all that other stuff. It will still help you greatly.
The Mythic Age
Advancing to the Mythic Age, I would pick the god Osiris if the game is close, and the god Thoth if victory is within your grasp. Osiris's god power, Son of Osiris, is probably the best god power in the game if used correctly. Try to keep him safe from harm. You should use him next to a forward midgol stronghold so, if he is in trouble, just garrison in the building for protection. Your opponent will find this quite annoying. He will be able to turn many battles, as he does 50 damage to multiple units at once. The other god power, Meteor, is a great power for finishing someone off. Simply use it where you want to kill your opponent, and just sit back and watch the action. You might want to note that it is more effective on buildings than units, although it still hurts units. The only other reason you would want to get to the mythic age is for ranged seige weapons. The catapult is a great seige weapon for demolishing buildings quickly. It may force your opponents to take unnecessary fights just to try and kill the catapults, which is always a good thing. One of the most important things you can do at this point in any game, is set up a trade route. Make a few markets very isolated from your town centers and just start spamming trade caravans. You’ll need this when you run out of gold, and you might want to eventually delete 20-30 villagers so you have population space for a standing army. Just keep raiding, fighting hard, and taking town centers and gold mines. The game should soon be yours.
Isis On A Low Hunt Map (Oasis, Ghost Lake, Alfheim)
Unfortunately for you, if you end up on a low hunt map, you won't be able to use Isis's awesome fast heroic strategy anymore, unless you still get a considerable amount of hunt, which won't usually happen. However, there is nothing bad about Isis's classical fighting. Classical fighting is fighting in the Classical Age to obtain maximum map control. It is different than rushing because you will be building inside your base, as opposed to next to your opponent's base. The game will most likely end in the Classical or Heroic Ages because it will be a while until you have enough food to advance to the Heroic Age. Usually on these types of games holding gold mines is the winning factor. This is called map control.
The Archaic Age
Again, like the fast heroic strategy, you must set up your economy accordingly to what you want to build and what troops you want to make. For example, if you are facing a Poseidon enemy, who would most likely make horses, you would want to make spearmen, the Egyptian counter for horses, not slingers. So, the first step in this game would be to determine which god you are up against. Always start out these kinds of games by sending your villagers and pharaoh to the closest food source available. Then create 5-8 villagers to be sent to food. You're going to want more on food this time because it is way harder to obtain. Send your priest to scout around your line of sight and keep him busy all the time. Get a monument up fast to take advantage of Isis's goddess technology as soon as possible. This will greatly help you in the long run. Don't forget to get your house and temple up on time. You're going for the same advance time as if you were doing a fast heroic, about 5:00 to 6:00 for a good economy. While you are advancing, you should get the economic upgrades as soon as possible. Make sure you are ready to build 3-4 barracks when you are advanced, this means having about 250 gold. After this, you will not need as much gold as last time, for Egyptian troops cost little gold in the Classical Age. You should have about 8-12 food, 3-7 gold, and 3-6 wood villagers right when you start to advance. While you are advancing, or before, again send a villager to build your free houses around all your towers. You also may want to consider getting a second monument if you have the resources.
The Classical Age
Unlike the fast heroic, the Classical Age is the main fighting age usually on these maps. You have as Egyptian good, cheap troops, which will help you a ton. The only disadvantage of the Egyptian classical army is that they have nothing great to raid with. They have no cavalry. However, they have anubites! Advancing to the Classical Age, you have 2 choices, obviously. Anubis, who's god power is Plague of Serpents, is a very popular choice because of his god power, his myth unit, the anubite, and his awesome god technologies. Your other choice, Bast, is a good choice too, offering you the sphinx as a myth unit some good economical technologies. Her god power, Eclipse makes all myth units stronger, which can be very good for later in the Heroic Age, when you have Ancestors at your disposal as well. Another common use of Eclipse is to prevent the use of another god power. For example, if you are raiding your opponent's far off gold miners, he could use ceasefire, assuming he is Zeus or Poseidon. But, if you see that he is about to use Ceasefire, you could use Eclipse and finish off all his villagers. Just to turn this all into one sentence, Anubis is better in the short run and Bast is better in the long run. Now, back to the game. Right when you advance, take three of your villagers off the resource you have more than enough of, or the one you have most of, and make them each build barracks next to your towers. When you are done with this, you should use one of them to build walls around yourself, walling yourself in from raids. You want to try and stop your opponent's raids without using your own force, if possible. You should, with your force try to attack him head on, and if that doesn't seem like it will work, go straight for his food or gold gatherers. Again use your priest(s) to create obelisks next to gold mines for easy anubite and spear raiding. You should gain control of the map basically, by doing this. With your opponent's gold being raided, he will have no open gold mines to go to. If this is the case, especially on a low gold map, you will have won. (Unless he has a way larger army than yours.) If you do not have map control yet, keep trying for it. Get town centers, make towers, make more forward barracks. Use anubites to constantly harass his workers. Back to the economy. When you are ready for farming, cast your Prosperity god power to get the extra gold you need to build farms. When your gold miners have to go to a vulnerable spot to mine, try to wall off the sides to prevent your opponent's raiders from getting in. If you think that the raiders will attack the walls, you can either run when they do or build a tower by the gold mine, and repair the walls when they attack them. I personally like the second method better, as they will just lose their army. In some cases you might need more than 1 villager to repair the walls. Don't forget to get all the economic upgrades, especially for farming. The armory upgrades and unit upgrades will also improve your army greatly. When you have a load of farms set up and you are content with your map control, you may want to consider heading to the Heroic Age.
The Heroic Age
When you advance to the Heroic Age, you will gain the power of Ancestors, and maybe even Locus Swarm. In most cases, though, I'd take the Ancestors because they are generally more useful than Locus Swarm, especially if you still have Eclipse with you. When you advance to the Heroic Age, make sure once again that you have extra gold to build town centers and many Midgol Strongholds. If you have map control, you will also want to get some siege workshops up to make some siege units. These can take down buildings with ease, especially houses and pesky towers. Your opponent should be close to giving up by now. I'd recommend using your Ancestors with or without Eclipse god power combination right in the middle of his base, and charge in with your whole army. With the extra free troops you have, destroying their base shouldn't be much of a challenge. If you don't have map control in the Heroic Age, then you shouldn't have advanced in the first place. However, there is one more way your opponent could force a longer fight. Somehow you lose control of some gold mines and your opponent is making a comeback. Well, if you know where he's mining his gold, that's an easy raid for you. All the battles will take place near that gold mine, so you better have a better army than him. Even if you don't, you still have the combination of Ancestors and Eclipse at your disposal. Use this to finish his army off. He will not be able to run, because this is the only gold mine he controls. You should win the game there. It’s ALL about gold control. However, if your opponent manages to overcome this, and retakes about half of the map, you have some considering to do. You should still keep raiding him as much as possible with camels and chariots. Keep upgrading your units, building more midgols and barracks. If you force him out of gold first you will most likely win. It' s all about the map control! Meanwhile, keep your villagers safe by using the tactic mentioned above. If he has archers raiding you now, or maybe siege to break down a wall, then you should just run away and move to a different mine, or fight his army with yours. It sometimes helps to spilt up your villagers on gold, so, if you are raided, you are still gaining some profits. If you feel you cannot increase your military progress any further without going to the Mythic Age, you should advance.
The Mythic Age
Well, if you are advancing to the Mythic Age in this situation, I would probably go through to god, Osiris. His god power, Son of Osiris can really turn some major battles in your favor. Only go Thoth if you want to elephant spam. Use your new ranged siege to take down his forts, or towers, which are most likely by his gold mines. Use this to take his gold mines back 1 by 1 until he has no gold left. Try to maintain a superior force so you will be able to do this. It will be quite challenging to do this if his army can beat yours. You should start a market trade in this age. That way, if you run out of gold mines, then you can rely on the carts to supply you with gold, but don't rely on them too much, as they aren't nearly as fast as miners. Try to build it far away from your town center for maximum efficiency. You will generate more gold this way. When the map is out of gold mines, and you have a prosperous trade, you can either delete your villagers, or send them to attack his structures, as they are of no use to you anymore. This will increase his score, but it won't really help him. It will help you. Raiding will become less important now. Just try to take down his military base, town centers, fight hard, and win.
Isis On Sea Maps (Mediterranean, Anatolia, Midgard, Highland)
On sea, Egyptian is actually not a bad choice, honestly, especially Isis and Set. The main reason for this, of course, is the awesome power of Anubis, Plague of Serpents. Sure, you have seen it kill 10 normal land units, but on sea, perhaps 5-6 arrow ships? It's almost as good as obtaining 5 ships for free. The only downfall is that you cannot control them, and that they will not move far from where the originated. Although your economy will not be as good as Norse players(dwarves), it is much better than Greek players because of your Prosperity god power and your pharaoh. The goal here is to basically get up to the Classical Age. Whichever player advances first usually has the advantage, and is able to create their arrow ships first, allowing you to destroy the other player's fishing economy. If you advance well before your opponent with a fair economy, you can be almost guaranteed to win the match.
The Archaic Age
This is the most important age of sea, by far. The way you set up your economy will always determine the outcome of the game. Also, the way you interpret your opponent's first moves and strategies on water is immensely important.(For example, if your opponent isn't even going to build fishing ships, there is no point of fighting him on water.) Try to scout maybe with a fishing ship later to obtain this knowledge. It is particularly useful on Anatolia. Anyways, going back to your economy. Firstly, you'll want to send your pharaoh and a villager to go build a dock right away. Second you're going to want to send your other villager to your nearest food source. Obviously, send your priest in circles around your base, possibly even to harass an enemy builder. This is an option for your pharaoh too. Create 5 starting villagers in your town center. After your dock is built, send your pharaoh and villager to build a house next to your dock. Also, start making as many fishing ships as possible. After the house is created, send your pharaoh to go empower your food gatherers and send the remaining villager to make a lumber camp. Once you feel you have enough villagers on food to strictly maintain villager production (maybe 4-5), make a villagers to wood. After this, you will want to get your temple up as soon as possible once you have mixed up a few gold villagers as well. Make some villagers to wood until you have 5-8, enough to constantly create fishing ships. You’re gonna probably want to dock the water somewhere else, so you can make even more fishing ships. Your remaining villagers should go to food or gold depending on what you need for a fast time. Also, don't forget to lay down your second house sometime here. In addition, Isis's goddess technology, Flood of the Nile is not necessary here, but if you feel you have the excess gold, go for it, as long as it wont halt your production later. Now, you should be ready to advance with a fairly good economy. Right when you go up, send all your food gatherers to wood and gold in proportion to how you will spend them on your archer ships. Remember, these ships cost 100 wood and 50 gold, which is a 2:1 ratio. While advancing it is imperative to research the Pickaxe and Hand Axe technologies, just to increase your economic power further. You will need these especially because your villagers work 10% slower(without the pharaoh) on all resources than a Greek or Norse player's villagers. One other thing that you must do while advancing to the next age is to build more docks. You will need these to pump out your ships two at a time instead of just one. Use fishing ships to make them. You should spread your docks out as much as possible, giving you a more efficient economy(Some of your fishing ships won't have to travel as far to turn in their resources. This may not seem like much, but it will add up over time.) Use your pharaoh to enchant the resource which you need most. With all of this done, you're ready for the Classical Age.
The Classical Age
From here on, there are a couple of ways this game can go. Since you are probably going for the ‘all-out’ sea ‘defensive’ land method, it really depends what your opponent is thinking. You should already have a basic idea from good scouting. I will explain each of your situations here.
If Your Opponent Goes ‘All-Sea’ As Well
In these types of games, whoever wins the sea will most likely win the game. Both players are just trying to cripple each other's economies and prevent them from the valuable privilege of fishing. Just think of it as a raiding war, on water. If you set up your Archaic economy about right you should hopefully advance somewhere between 5:00 and 6:30 into the game. If you can't seem to get this right, try to make a slight twist to your build order or execute it better. When you advance, you should be ready to pump some ships from 2-4 docks. Your land base should be shielded with houses by now, or should be just about shielded, just in case he starts making land military units.(Use obelisks to tell when he is.) You should be creating villagers to wood or gold, and your pharaoh should most likely be empowering your wood choppers or your gold miners. Basically just pump ships up to your opponent's docks, and go for his economy. However, watch out for his ships and docks, as they will be a potential threat. If there are ever any sea fights, casting Plague of Serpents might be a good idea, but I'd just keep fighting the battle, and retreat if I am losing. The BEST use of the Plague of Serpents god power is right on a tight spot, where there is only a narrow lane of water for ships to pass through(Works best obviously on Midgard and Anatolia). Your opponent's ships will not have a fun time trying to penetrate that barrier of snakes. Think of it as almost a small force-field to your opponent, that only you can pass through. This will give you at least half of the sea to your control. On Mediterranean, it'd probably just be best to cast this power near an important dock of your opponent's to prevent his fishing ships from returning food and to scare all of your opponent's arrow ships out of the area. Not as helpful as the other maps, but still better than your average god power for a sea map. If your opponent manages to avoid the snakes somehow, or maneuvers around them and receives minimal damage from them, you're still in for a sea fight. You might want to add some more docks, with your economy being stronger than it was before. Also, start to consider your military progress on land. The choice is really yours to fast heroic (Remember, if you go heroic, you will gain access to the counters to your opponent's ships.), or to classic fight on the land. It really depends on what resources you have. Don't let your opponent get ahead of you on land, especially if you are already losing the sea. You will most likely lose in these situations. In addition to all this, remember that all the arrow ships for every culture inflict pierce damage. You may want to think about getting an armory and upgrading that pierce, and possible attack upgrade too. Hold back your opponent's army on land, even possibly attack and raid him. On sea, keep fighting him, if you can't seem to make your boats fast enough, build more docks. If you don't have the resources to build constant ships, then get a better economy. If you’re at your population limit constantly and he is still winning, really consider halting your military progress on land or advance to the Heroic Age and build town centers, and get the Fortified Town Center upgrade. Just keep your population maxed out always, get all the military and economy upgrades, and you'll be in pretty good shape most likely. If you both happen to be in the Heroic Age and still fighting on water, don't forget to counter his sea units. In addition, you should try to keep him off all those gold mines. Do this and you can win easily. When you win the sea, which you eventually should, your opponent may give up. If he doesn't, delete a lot of your boats so they don‘t take up population space. Only keep enough to patrol and make sure he doesn't come back to the sea and surprise you. This may also be done with fishing ships. This will now be a total land fight. If you have read the other sections of this guide, you will know exactly what to do from this point. One last thing, don't forget to use your sea control to your advantage. Use some siege ships to destroy his buildings bordering the sea, especially in mythic. Use arrow ships to assist you in battles, if possible. Now, if you lose the sea, somehow, you will most likely have lost(If this is Mediterranean, just quit. You have lost for sure.) Try to make up for your fishing ships by making extra villagers on food, extra town centers, and stay away from the water, obviously. Don't try to reclaim the sea, as your efforts will most likely be in vain if your opponent is half decent. Take as many town centers as you possibly can, control the gold mines, raid him, and good luck.
If Your Opponent Rushes You On Land
If your opponent develops this strange idea to rush you on land, maybe going for sea at the beginning, but not building any military ships, or maybe not even making ships at all, be prepared for a land fight. Firstly, find out if he is or is not making fishing ships. This will assist you in setting up your economy accordingly. As I said earlier, you don't want to waste your money on arrow ships if they can't kill anything. Lucky for you, Egypt, especially Isis, is one of the hardest civilizations to rush. You've got your free tower upgrades, your pharaoh, priest, and your cheap military units. You're probably going to classical fight this type of game, although the fast heroic is still possible to use. This will be exactly like the Classical Fighting section. There is but one difference, the sea, of course. Try to send at least a few boats towards your opponent to just disturb his economy. He won't be able to rush you as well if you cut off his food supply. I recommend the same build order as the last sea strategy, maybe a bit faster. The only difference is that you would want to have a little less villagers on wood and maybe more on food and gold. Just because it's a sea map doesn't mean your villagers can't work on food primarily. Just follow the other guide on Classical Fighting and you should be fine!

Many of the top players of AoM and AoM:TT still today use Isis as their main goddess. Isis is an incredibly diverse goddess with many special and overpowering attributes.
